10 Tips from Arctic
TO STAY ACTIVE & MOTIVATED OVER THE WINTER MONTHS!
1. Warm up & down Ideally indoors.
Stretching & the right set of exercises will increase blood flow in the muscles & help generate body warmth. Cold and stiff muscles are more prone to injury. Your body will thank you & you’ll feel the benefits of your training. And stay hydrated!
2. Dress up & buddy up!
If you’re heading outdoors, layer up & dress adapted to the cold & weather conditions. Essentials include the right adapted footwear, hat/beanie for warmth & gloves. And for that extra motivation to get out off the couch & outside, fix a date with a buddy to stick to the plan!
3. Take the stairs.
The easiest rule in the book. Skip the lift, escalators & make those stairs work for you. The best way to get your heart rate up & to wake yourself up
4. Buy a skipping rope!
Another ol’faithful & one of the easiest ways to build strength, resistance, get fit & feel the results. Challenge yourself & every day you’ll love yourself for it!
5. Core strength The plank!
One of our favourites & another easy home-win. Core strength is a-must & will contribute towards overall conditioning.
6. Invest in some new kit!
Feeling good, looking good is always a great morale tonic & incentive boost. Plus then you can post the pics on Instagram to impress your fan base even more
7. Join Arctic on Strava!
Easy to upload. An easy way to work-out, socialise, stay active and get inspired with Arctic. A club where Arctic Juice & Cafe teams & followers can share their training & motivate each other. Plus track your workouts and get free stuff!

Try yoga. For mindfulness, stretching, mind body & soul relaxation & to build strength. We’re big fans of the Peloton app, which offers all fitness class options, depending how mellow or high-energy you’re feeling.
